Nell Frizzell, yours truly, is a freelance writer living in Hackney, East London.
Like most writers, I live on a happy diet of poverty, adrenaline and fully caffeinated tea.
I studied English at Leeds University, where I wrote for and edited sections of the Leeds Student newspaper and the University Union’s women’s magazine Lippy (don’t blame me, I inherited the name).
After graduating, I worked for two years at The Leeds Guide as the Editor of Contract Publishing, Lifestyle Editor and the Editor of Plush (another terrible inherited name, I’m afraid). I then spent nearly a year as a Content Manager in the online department of the creative agency Brahm, which is based in Headingley.
I have now moved to London and write regularly for such esteemed publications as Vice and Little White Lies, as well as taking on freelance Content Management jobs and working at The Women’s Library in Whitechapel.
If you would like to get in touch then please email me at nellyfrizzell@gmail.com
Unlike Ringo Starr, I will try to reply to all my fan mail.
