As the daughter of an art teacher, it was only a matter of time until I started potato printing again.
I had a couple of potatoes in my cupboard that were trying to grow their own tubermetropolis. I also had a white t-shirt that I bought from Walthamstow Market for £2. So, I decided to bust out some workshop moves and make myself a bird-print top.
First, I had to carve the birds out of a halved spud…
They may look a bit messy now that they’re all covered in ink, but they came out pretty nicely, even if I do say so myself.
So here you go. It’s the potato-printed-bird-t-shirt money shot. KAPOW!
